We are strongly opposed to Florida Amendment 4 (2024) as it is poorly worded from a legal perspective and will be interpreted to mean there can be absolutely no limits on abortion whatsoever.

We are strongly in favor of Florida Amendment 3 as it is well written, well thought-out and stops the State's overreach and legalizes marijuana for recreational use for all adults over 21.

Vote NO on Florida Amendment 4! 

The text of the Amendment reads: "Except as provided in Article X, Section 22, no law shall prohibit, penalize, delay, or restrict abortion before viability or when necessary to protect the patient’s health, as determined by the patient’s healthcare provider." (Emphases added)

"Healthcare provider" is undefined. This could mean any "healthcare provider" which could be the assistant at the abortion clinic.

"Viability" is also undefined. 

This law would effectively allow completely unrestricted abortion as any "healthcare provider" would have full discretion in determining the abortion is "necessary to protect the patient’s health."
